David Barney joined Farmers Union Service Association in January of 1996 as an insurance agent. He became licensed and began his property, casualty, life, and health insurance agency.

When David moved to Montrose, CO in 2000 he took over a busy agency that had already been serving Montrose County for the prior 51 years.

The roots of his agency are in Farming and Ranching through his preferred carrier Farmers Union Property and Casualty.

Since 1996 the agency has added many additional Carriers in order to serve all the needs of our clients.
